Ballad

Your attitude changes your life
People can complain
They can whine
But where does that really get you
You have one life
Take it with full force
Don't let your brain tell you you can't
When you can
Don't stop yourself
Don't doubt
A Positive attitude is key
To go far in life
The only thing holding you back
Is yourself

Elegy

A companion you were
When I was young
You played on the playground with me
And chased me through the grass
Your size didn't scare me
You were very playful
You knew the limits

You knew when I was tired
and needed a break
you knew how to make me feel better
when I would fall down
you kept me company
when no one could play with me

We grew up together
and I'm sorry to see you go
But you lived a great life
and i will always love you so

I hope you're in a better place
I know you're having fun
Stay a great pet
You'll always be number one

Limerick

There once was a bottle names Snapple
Who tastes a bit like an apple
It's kind of sweet
And very neat
I always carry it with my satchel

Ode

The warmth they provide
is like no other
fuzzy, tall, short, soft
they all do one job
no matter where you are.

The comfort they give you
is beyond expected
without socks
my life wouldn't be the same
socks are my bae
they are amazing.

You use them on a daily
they make you feel complete
they make your ankles cozy
and the patterns they come in
are quite neat
socks are my life.

Haiku

As the sun rises,
The sky has been awaken,
The day has begun.

Free Verse Poem

I never thought,
Throughout my entire life,
that a sport like this,
could make me so happy.

Ding!
the sound strikes the sky,
as the cold bat reaches the ball,
it's time, do or die.

Blog Post #10

In my opinion, I don't think special education and general education should mix. Even though we should treat special education students the same as anyone else, I don't think that the idea of mixing the students is a good idea. Not only are some teachers uncomfortable with the idea, but they could also not know how to teach a student who might need to take more time to understand a concept than others. I think that the learning environment would be better if the special ed students had a teacher who could spend more time with them and be able to cater more to their needs.
