LOTF daily post Friday

Today I woke up to pouring rain outside. I didn't do anything today because of the rain. It was dark and gloomy and I didn't feel like going outside. The day wasn't boring, but it definitely wasn't the funnest. I watched my brothers and cooked for them. My mom came home with Tapex and I was really happy.

Today I woke up at 7:30. I ate leftover donuts for breakfast and then played video games with my brothers. Then, I ordered Chinese takeout from Evergreen Panda. It was actually really good. After that, I went to the mall with my friend and bought a shirt. They came over after and we studied for Spanish.

Today I woke up at 8:30 to Krispy Kreme donuts. I was extremely happy, because I love Krispy Kreme. I took my dog for a walk around my neighborhood. My cousins came over again and we played video games for the rest of the day.

I woke up at 7:30 to the sound of my brother's yelling at each other. I couldn't go back to sleep after that. I made myself waffles for breakfast with ham on the side. My cousins came over and we made cheesecake bites. I ate lunch and then went to target. I bought sour gummy worms and more gel pens.
After that, my friend came over and we walked to the plaza with Honeyberry and Iguanas. I was hoping not to see anyone there, but the whole freshman class was there to celebrate a birthday. I went home, played volleyball, watched tv, and then knocked out at 10:30.

LOTF Daily Post Monday

Today I woke up at 8:00 A.M. to find my dog in my room trying to jump on my bed. I started my morning off by making my brothers and I breakfast. It was a pretty boring day to be honest. I went for a run and made a smoothie. Then, I sat in my room and watched Netflix and Youtube videos for most of the day.
I ate chicken and rice for lunch. My brother's friend came over and his mother bought me Tapioca Express. They were slightly loud and annoying, as most younger brothers are, but it was tolerable. For dinner, I ate leftover orange chicken from Evergreen Panda. I watched Awkward and then fell asleep.

Get over it movie summary: EC

Get Over It is about a boy named Berke Landers who has the hottest girl in school, Allison, for a girlfriend. Allison breaks his heart after she realizes she doesn't have the same feelings she used to. Allison goes to a party and meets a new boy named Striker. They get together and it makes Berke extremely jealous. He joins a play based off of the book A MidSummer Night's Dream, in hopes of winning her back. He lands a minor role in the play with the help of Kelly, his friend's sister. She helps him with his acting and singing skills while they form a friendship. He has play practice and basketball, which his teammates don't like. Berke is able to improve his skills so much that he gets one of the lead parts in the play, Lysander. Berke finds out a dirty secret about Striker, and tells Allison, who doesn't believe him. After Allison finds out the truth about Striker, she breaks up with him trying to regain Berke's love. Berke goes with it but knows that it isn't the right decision. As the play goes on, "Lysander" realizes that he doesn't love Allison the way he used to. Kelly is the one he truly loves. During the play he improvises and tells the audience that he no longer loves Hermia, but Helena. Berke and Kelly live happily ever after.

In my opinion, I don't think special education and general education should mix. Even though we should treat special education students the same as anyone else, I don't think that the idea of mixing the students is a good idea. Not only are some teachers uncomfortable with the idea, but they could also not know how to teach a student who might need to take more time to understand a concept than others. I think that the learning environment would be better if the special ed students had a teacher who could spend more time with them and be able to cater more to their needs.

Tutoring Blog Post

I feel that tutoring Ms. Hines' class was a great experience that I would want to do again. I believe that it's definitely a positive experience you can benefit from and I enjoy helping them out.
One of the girls I was working with was so cute. She was very shy and didn't say much, but it was a really nice feeling to help her out. Another girl was really sweet and I enjoyed talking to her and getting to know her better.
